'The images I have chosen for the Bakehouse Billboards are of my drawing ‘Sombre reptiles’(a title taken from a Brian Eno track). I liked the idea of the symmetry of the Billboards at either side of the door so I reversed the image to make a matching pair. The images are based on a collage of a young woman's face covered with a native flower and lizard which, from a distance, looks like a primitive facial adornment.'
